2nd Anniversary Celebration Week
This Thursday we’re celebrating two years since we opened at the North Park Post Office. We’re going to be doing special stuff Wednesday through Saturday. Here’s the schedule, we hope you can make it:
Wednesday July 18th
Boozeiversary To celebrate the day we got our beer and wine license, we’re offering $30 All-You-Can-Drink Blonde or Gragnano sparkling red wine. Also, half price bottles of wine all night long (which is a special we offer every Tuesday and Wednesday night, for the record).
Thursday July 19th
Birthday Cake! Enjoy a complimentary slice of birthday cake, one for every table, made by Tribute Pizza Pastry Chef Emeritus Mom, while supplies last.
Release of our Second Anniversary Beer We took our house beer, Your Favorite Beer (formerly Tribute Blonde on Blonde Blonde), and we thought of every way we could an especially good, award winning yet-unpretentious beer, and dress it up for a special occasion; a little pretentious, even. After negotiating with the brewers at Home Brewing Co. which adjuncts and infusions and special treatments we could apply, we decided to go all in, and brew this single batch with all of it. It is: Your Favorite Beer w/ one Pappy Van Winkle-soaked oak cube, one whole Madagascar vanilla bean, one farmers market white peach from R&L Orchards, Ethiopian coffee from Coffee and Tea Collective, local Fallbrook honey from Heritage Family Farms, finished with moscato wine must, and bottle conditioned with champagne yeast in a 750ml format champagne bottle with a cork and cage. Because, hey, we’ve made it this far making irrational decisions, and it seems be working out just fine.

Whiskey We can't sell it, we can't pour it, but with a little help from our friends... When you’re done celebrating at Tribute, cruise over to Seven Grand anytime between 10pm and closing, head to the back bar (Bar Three Piece). Show the bartender your Tribute receipt from 7.19.18, and you’ll receive one shot of Wild Turkey 101 for every pizza you bought. Hang out, because the Tribute team (a few of us, at least) will be over about 11pm...
Friday July 20th
Just doing what we do best, slangin’ pies and pouring beers and tryin’ to make people happy, with a few surprises, perhaps...
Saturday July 21st
Second Annual Miller High Life Shorty Six Pack Challenge: Can you drink six High Life 7oz shorties faster than our staff representative? It’s $10 to sign up, which gets you a six pack of shorties, plus a Tribute anniversary shirt. But the real deal is that if you can put down all six faster than Team Tribute, you’ll win Tribute Pizza for a year. It all goes down at 9:30pm Saturday. Sign ups begin Tuesday, spots are limited. Obviously, there are rules (21+, etc, etc)

Cask Night in SD

Tom and Dan from @thornbeer and our own Kurt just hammered the tap into tonight's cask, Hopster Pot, their incredible North East Style IPA.
From Tom: “Our third attempt at the "juicy" ipa style that has ignited the New England brewing scene. Citra, Nelson and Amarillo hops provide tropic citrus flavors and aromas, more fruit flavors of mango is derived from the hybrid yeast strain. These compliment the orange juice like flavors commonly found in beers of this style, all delivered in a lower alcohol, lighter body than most of it's kind.”

We've collaborated with the our friends Kelsey and Joaquin over at the NPBC to roll out an exceptionally cool beer event. On the beer engine, we've got a cask of Golden Phenix Breakfast Stout infused with cocoa nibs soaked in @oldharbordistilling, just a Tribute to the flavor profile of our coffee-y, booze-y Mom's Recipe Tiramisu.
On draft we've got a McNair's Scottish Heavy Session Ale infused with Tribute's housemade savory granola with cashews, almonds, red quinoa, pepitas, and coconut. It's unlike any other beer we've ever tasted, you've got to try this nut-job... We also have ""First of Many," NPBC's First Anniversary IPA, and, we're all incredibly excited about the hop-bomb "Not an IPA" collaboration with brewing legends Colby Chandler (of Ballast Point) and Mitch Steele (of New Realms Brewing, and formerly of Stone) that showcases the latest in hop technology! No hops were used in the boil kettle, but rather a metric f-bomb of Simcoe CO2 Hop Extract, Ekuanot Cryo Lupulin Powder, a dry hop of Crystal and Simcoe hops, a shot of Cascade Hopzoil.
Lastly we've got "Devil in Disguise," their Belgian Golden Strong Ale that reminds us of Duvel, but local and better... Actually lastly, we've got a ridiculous soft serve concoction with our Straus vanilla soft serve topped with a reduction of NPBC's "Death Before Dying" stout of stouts, and Chef Brian's flourless chocolate cake with espresso ganache... Now, we know that was alot, so take a breath, call your friends, and head on over at 5pm for the cask-tapping.

Tribute to Beer Week

In honor of #SDBeerWeekwe’re excited to announce our ‘Tribute To Beer Week,’ our first beer pairing dinner, a collaboration with @moderntimesbeer, next Wednesday November 9th!
While pizza is at our core, we’ve given Tribute Pizza Executive Chef Brian LaBonte the freedom to flex his fine dining muscles. Brian has developed a five course menu that is available vegetarian or with optional meat supplements, featuring the best local autumnal produce, paired with some really special limited release Modern Times beers.
